    The identiFINDER R425 UW builds on the legacy and capabilities of the identiFINDER R400 and identiFINDER R425. Combining the powerful sensing capabilities of the R425 with underwater operation and ruggedness of the R400.

    The R425 UW is IP 68 rated to a depth of 20 meters (66 feet) and is MIL STD 810G (Salt Fog) compliant. It is three and a half times more gamma sensitive and more than two times more neutron sensitive than its underwater predecessor, the R400.

The system provides the same lightweight stabilized turret, HD payload options and inertial navigation capabilities as the SeaFLIR 240, and adds Extensible Processing (EP) capabilities hosted by the system’s Control Electronics Unit (CEU). The system’s CEU supports advanced image-processing like blending, Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®), Adaptive Temporal Filtering (ATF) and Advanced Local Area Processing (ALAP) via a high-performance computing engine and dedicated graphics processor unit (GPU). The CEU provides up to 4 paired HDMI and HD-SDI video outputs, remote system command and control through industry standard plug-n-play Ethernet protocols, and a 1 Terabyte Solid-State Drive.

With variable beam divergence and variable intensity from 10mW to 499mW, it can be used for both close quarter, long-range, and precision applications.
