The Germans knew that this was likely their last chance to turn the tide after D-Day, and the small Belgian town of Bastogne was the epicenter of what became known to history as the Battle of the Bulge.     Unless otherwise specified by an OEM agreement, all Photon cameras with lenses were delivered with a rear (shipping) cover. This cover afforded some protection to the electronics, but could be removed by the customer.
