Building Inspection
Building envelope air leaks, moisture intrusion, and missing, damaged, or inadequate insulation, are all costly problems residential and commercial building owners face. A thermal imaging camera can help you quickly target the source of the problem while the right test meters can provide the data you need to help customers make informed decisions on repairs.

What Is EO?/IR?
EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infra-Red) systems are imaging systems used for military or law enforcement applications which include both visible and infrared sensors. Because they span both visible and infrared wavelengths, EO/IR systems provide total situational awareness both day and night and in low light conditions.

Applying Ground-Based Security Radar to Perimeter Systems
Perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS) typically employ camera-based solutions to monitor perimeters or other areas of importance, but adverse environmental and imaging conditions can impede the performance of traditional camera sensors. Radar addresses these challenges, detecting intruders 24/7 even in harsh weather and low-light or no-light scenarios. By integrating a ground-based commercial radar—the Teledyne FLIR Elara™ R-Series, for example—as another essential sensor within a PIDS to complement visible and thermal cameras, security managers maximize detection coverage, receive early warnings of threats, and gain position intelligence of threats for a turnkey end-to-end security solution.

How Do FH-Series Cameras Reduce False Alarms and Improve Detection Accuracy?
Throughout history, building better security often meant stationing more guards to surveil the perimeter. Plain and simple. In the last 30 years, better perimeter security has meant deploying surveillance cameras and other sensors as a force multiplier. Today, security cameras built with multiple imagers and on-board video analytics represent the latest evolution in these models—bringing together the best of video, sensors, and artificial intelligence for real-time insights and threat detection in harsh environments. When security directors at critical infrastructure sites utilize the new FLIR FH-Series multispectral cameras, they leverage industry-leading technologies that expand coverage, reduce false alarms, and improve 24/7 monitoring.
